BROOKS B-17 Champion Special
Brooks B-17 is simply the best saddle ever created. I have personally tried out 28 (yes 28) different saddles over the past 35 years. I love cycling but saddles don't love me. I'd always known of Brooks saddles but could not trust that the hard leather cover would give me a painless ride. Tired and beaten up, ready to move to recumbents I finally gave in and bought a B-17 in 1992. Finally, a saddle which changed shape permanently to me, and believe it or not the ride improves over time!
Just a note: I have a lot of customers who are turned off on Brooks because the first saddle they ride is the professional. Many a sceptic I have turned around by explaining the professional and the B-17 are two different rides, most folks prefer the B-17. Try it you'll like it. I Sell only the Champion Special because the leather is thicker, looks nicer with the bigger rivets and the saddle lasts longer.
